Based in Los Angeles, Allentown Productions is a film and TV production company specializing in non-fiction filmmaking.
Allentown Productions was established by filmmaker James Moll, who was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania – hence, the name of the company. His work as a documentary director/producer has earned him numerous awards including an Academy Award®, two Emmy Awards®, a Grammy Award®, and Peabody Award, among others.
In addition to his work in film, James Moll is Founding Executive Director of Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to collect and preserve more than 50,000 testimonies of Holocaust survivors. The archive now operates from the University of Southern California as The USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education.
